Tobacco for rollies is the loose, fragrant leaf you pack into little papers to make your own smokes, bypassing the factory tubes. It comes in pouches, sometimes bright blue or red, and you pinch out just enough to roll a tight, even cylinder. There's a certain ritual to it—licking the gum strip, tamping the ends—and the taste is often richer and more personal than a pre-made cigarette.
