I finally got the radon test results back for the basement, and the levels are sitting at 3.8 pCi/L, which is just below the EPA's action guideline of 4.0 but still something we need to address. The test took 48 hours and we kept all windows closed, so I'm pretty confident in the reading. Honestly, even though it's technically acceptable, I'm already looking into mitigation systems because I'd rather not have any long-term risk from breathing that in every day.
