I've been using the LeStallion notebook for writing, and it's become my go-to for daily journaling and sketching out story ideas. The paper has a nice, smooth feel that handles fountain pen ink without bleeding, and the leather cover develops a good patina over time. It's compact enough to toss in my bag, but the pages are generous.
